From the app
- Open Dotdown and go to More, then Settings, then Account and sync.
- Scroll to Deleting your account and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm twice. Deletion happens immediately.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in (your Google login or the username a parent set up for you).
- Your place in your family, your profile photo, your last shared location, and your health record.
- Any open request to join a family.
What is kept
- Chores, events and points you took part in stay with the family, because they are the family's record rather than yours. Your name on them is the name the family gave you, not your login.
- If you are the only parent of a family, the whole family is deleted with your account, since nobody would be able to manage it. Make someone else a parent first if the family should carry on.
Without the app
If you can no longer open the app, email contact@megalightgames.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Data is stored with Supabase. No copy of a deleted account is kept beyond the provider's routine backups, which expire on their own schedule.
